Do What You Love and You'll Never Work Another Day In Your Life!
I live in Winnetka with my two gorgeous cats, Spock and Captain, who are both rescue kitties. In 1996, I moved to the Chicago area from Charlotte, N.C. I previously worked as a flight attendant and needed the service of a pet sitter from time to time. It seemed like the funnest job and I became intrigued with pet care. In 2002, I began watching some of my neighbors' pets. I loved it so much, that I decided to start up my own pet-sitting business. In 2003, Pam's Pet Sitters was created. It has been a very rewarding experience working with animals. I grew up with dogs, cats, and other pets in the household. I recently graduated with a M.A. in Clinical Psychology. Eventually, I would like to incorporate my two loves of working with psychology and animals through animal therapy, specifically counseling those suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering, bike rides along the lake, writing, and yoga. I look forward to meeting you and your pets soon!
